1. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Kahiyo public website handles information when you browse the site or use its official Android app download link. It applies only to this website. The Kahiyo Android app may have separate privacy information describing data handled inside the app.

2. Information you provide

This website does not offer account registration, sign-in, comments, payments, or direct messaging.

iPhone details form. The Kahiyo app is currently available on Google Play (Android) only. If you visit from an iPhone or iPad, you can choose to leave your name, mobile number and, optionally, your email on the iPhone page so that we can contact you when the iPhone app is available. We store only what you type, the date, the version of this notice you agreed to, the campaign tag of the link you came from, which button led you to the form, your country and the daily code described in section 4. The details are kept in our website database (Cloudflare) and our app database (Supabase). We use them only to contact you about the iPhone app, and we do not sell or share them for advertising. You can withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your details at any time using the contact details in section 11, which is as easy as giving it; we delete them once we have contacted you about the iPhone launch or when you ask, whichever comes first. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

3. Information processed automatically

When you visit the website, our hosting and content-delivery providers may process standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, request time, and security-related event data. We do not use the website to build advertising profiles or sell personal information.

4. Cookies and local storage

The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. To count visits and install-button taps, and to understand how the site is used (how far a page is scrolled, which sections are seen, which buttons are tapped, how long a page is actively in view, and technical errors), we record the page, the button or section, the referring site or campaign tag, the country and the device type, together with a daily code made from a one-way hash of your IP address and browser that cannot be reversed and changes every day. We do not store your IP address. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free. If you choose Light, Dark, or System theme, that preference is stored locally in your browser so the site can remember it. The preference stays on your device and does not identify you to Kahiyo.

5. Fonts and hosting providers

The website may request font files from Google Fonts. Google may receive standard connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, when those files are delivered. The site is intended to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may process technical logs for content delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, and security. Those providers handle information under their own terms, including the Google Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

6. Android app download

On Android, the home page and Install buttons take you to the Kahiyo listing on Google Play; the link carries the campaign tag of the page you came from so that Google Play can report which campaign led to an install. Google Play handles that visit under the Google Privacy Policy. The website offers no app file of its own: every download link opens Google Play. Installing or using the Kahiyo Android app is separate from browsing this website, and the app's own privacy information will govern data handled inside the app.

7. External links

The website may link to Kahiyo profiles on services such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and ShareChat. If you follow an external link, the destination service's privacy policy applies. Kahiyo does not control how third-party services handle information.

8. Data retention and security

Apart from the iPhone details described in section 2 and the counts described in section 4, Kahiyo does not maintain a website user database. Hosting and delivery providers may retain technical logs for periods set by their own operational and security policies. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to a public website, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

This website is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a Kahiyo service, please contact us so the issue can be reviewed.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website, our providers, or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
